A delicious, easy and protein packed recipe to start your day strong!
Rinse tofu block and dry thoroughly. Place tofu in a medium size bowl, and mash with a fork until the desired piece size is created.
Add turmeric through salt & pepper to the bowl with the tofu and mix until blended and tofu is evenly coated.
Transfer the mixed ingredients to a small pan with a drizzle olive oil and heat on medium-high heat for about 5 minutes, or until the color becomes a solid yellow and it’s heated through, stirring occasionally.
While the tofu scramble is cooking, place the Gardein Breakfast Saus'age Patties in another small pan with a small amount of oil or cooking spray and cook for 8-10 minutes. Flip patties frequently while cooking. Cook thoroughly to internal temperature of 165°F (minimum). Remember: do not overcook - it's not meat!
OR, for a faster option, cook two patties on a microwave safe plate for 1:30-2:00 minutes, turning halfway through cooking.
Cut rolls in half, layer on cooked tofu scramble, non-dairy cheese and Gardein Breakfast Saus'age Patty. Serve immediately and enjoy!
