With holiday parties in full effect, it’s so hard to decide on what to wear. I always look for styles that are festive but comfortable enough to still have fun. To add on to that, I am not shy around the holiday cookies, so what I feel comfortable in can change from day to day. While I love my body for all that it is, sometimes I appreciate a little help in the shapewear department for more form fitting styles. I had the opportunity to try Shapermint under my holiday party styles and was surprised with how comfortable it was.
I threw together 2 different looks for the holiday season.The first is a super comfortable and flirty look with a classic white button down,a pleated skirt, my Shapermint tank, pattern tights, statement necklace and a red lip.
I love the ease of this look. Classic, simple, and will work at almost every event. Not only that, it’s so comfortable for then entire evening.
The second look started with the same initial layer of Shapermint, dark tights, bow heels, and then layered over a form flaunting style.What I love about this look for the holidays is the silver thread for a little sparkle. If I don’t get to wear this one to a Christmas party, then I’m definitely wearing this one New Year’s Eve!
The added stretch to this dress will make the party and the preparations ahead of time an absolute breeze. I will most likely be in my trusty apron that has been with me for years.
